A 7-day intensive training program (14 hours total) will be organized by the GIS Lab, Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies (IDMVS), University of Dhaka. The program is exclusively open to undergraduate students of the Institute.

This Python Programming Bootcamp aims to equip undergraduate students with practical Python skills for data analysis, visualization, and basic spatial analysis relevant to disaster management research. The training will emphasize hands-on applications of Python in analyzing hazards and risk-related datasets to support evidence-based disaster planning, response, and management.

Mohammad Barkatullah, Junior Computer Operation Officer of the Institute, will act as the Instructor of the program and Md Juel Mia, Assistant Professor of Disaster Management, will serve as the Bootcamp Coordinator.
